Methods of Purchase & Payment |
|
Personally, I accept
payments via Paypal, Money Order, and
Cash. Paypal is preferred. Payment should
not be made without first receiving an invoice. I also
have an Etsy
shop, through which orders can be placed.
Currently it only features the catnip toys I make, but I
will add to it as I have time. |

About the Artist |
|
My name is
Micha, and I have been making puppets and dolls since 1994.
My specialty is carving foam rubber, which can either be
painted or covered with fabric. A few years ago I
began making kittens out of styrofoam (dubbed the
Minis). To improve on build time and look, I developed my
own presses and tools. And each year I add several new
Mini designs to the line. More recently I have begun
working in polymer clay and Japanese papers.
Everything is made by me, in the evenings after work.
But I am not alone! My husband Jaime provides
suggestions, advise, and amazing support! And I have
four furry models. (Click on their names to visit their
Catster pages!)
Tasi (my only boy),
Skimble,
Bru
and Frodo. Bru was a stray I adopted five years ago,
and Frodo (named for her missing digit) is her daughter.
Both Bru and Frodo are FIV positive, but are living healthy
and happy lives!

What is a
CroKitty?
(an
original fairy tale- abridged) |
|
Once upon a time an unlucky little
black kitten was born in a very superstitious little town.
All the other kittens in his family were white or ginger, as
were his parents. And once he grew old enough to
understand what fear and luck were, he knew he could not
stay with those that feared him; black cats were unlucky.
He wandered for days searching for someone who would not judge him so, and came
upon a nest of crows. He was so like the misunderstood birds, that a lasting friendship
formed. They made him a member of their family, and each crow donated feathers so he
could have his very own pair of wings. Thus, the crokitty was born.
