| The
Nekobus appears when O-Totoro is waiting with Satsuki and Mei at the bus stop. He is
a living bus, whose inside is all fluffy fur. Hie eyes are the headlights, whilst
the mice on his back act as his signal lights. To help him be the best bus ever,
Nekobus has twelve legs, can run through the air, and is invisible to the unsuspecting
masses. The sign on his back changes according to his destination. When
Satsuki comes to him for help, his sign changes to read "MEI" In the
dubbed version a voice narrates " Next stop: little sister" Interesting fact: Nekobus is definetly a boy. How do I know? Look closely when he runs atop the phone lines, you'll see! |
